Learning to Foil
Learn the basics of foil sailing
Service Description
When learning to wingfoil, in light wind conditions, it's best to focus on managing the foil alone. Later, you can combine the sail and foil together. Learning to foil while towed by a boat involves three steps: 1/ On your knees: discover the lift and acceleration // Standing but without flying at low speed 2/ One foot and one knee: adopt the correct posture 3/ Standing: control your trajectory It's recommended to come in a group (two or three people) to watch others practice. You'll learn much faster, and it's more fun too! The goal is to master the lift from the foil (being lifted above the water) and control your direction and trajectory. This also involves working on posture and balance. Note: AFK insurance is mandatory for this activity.
